Compsognathus Skull

Made famous by Jurassic Park the dinosaur Compsognathus lived during the late Jurassic period around 150 million years ago in Europe. Most of our knowledge about the Compsognathus comes from two different skeletons that were discovered around a century apart from each other. This first was discovered in Germany around the 1850’s by Dr. Joseph Oberndorfer, and the second in France in 1971 by Louis Ghirardi.
